Health and Beauty are two sides of the same coin. You cannot possess either in isolation. Indeed a healthy person is naturally beautiful and the reverse is true. It is a fact that health and beauty go hand in hand. Health is the metabolic efficiency in all people and beauty, alas, brings joy to the beholder!
Since the dawn of time, men have always been fascinated by beauty. It can be the cause of his greatest joy or failure. Poets and singers have sung paeans about man’s fascination with beauty. Even the ancient civilizations commemorated beautiful things. This is similar to the beauty contests that brings together the most beautiful women in the world at least once a year.
We fear aging because of both the prospect of a general decline in physical beauty and the onset of death. In today’s society, looking good has become an obsession. There is no doubt that women and beauty are timeless. Everywhere we look, we will see women displaying their beauty, as reflected in their hairstyles, make-up, fashions and accessories.
So how do we make our self beautiful? In reality, it always starts with two simple things; the first being our body and second, our mindset. If these two basic things are not right, then it does not matter how much touching up we do around the outside, the fundamentals would not have changed.
First tip; our body. This has to be our starting point. We are seeing a lot more emphasis on health as an important part of beauty. Being healthy equates to having a beautiful body. Oh, I am not talking about the supermodel or Mr and Ms Universe body shapes. Nor am I referring to the athletic, muscular female physique; one with defined bicep muscles and shapely hamstrings and calves that you can die for! Hmm… no, I mean that WILL be nice but we are all not that lucky (or hardworking), sigh…
Ask our self; Does my body feel good? Does it have the right connection to pleasure the heart and soul of joy? Does it have the sense of happiness?
We need a beautiful body that will make us feel good about our self and make others feel good about us. Lets put it in more blunt terms; what is the point in having beauty treatment for our face if we have a gut the size of a whale? A body that even we cannot bear to look.
To attain admiration, women use many different and even radical products and services that enhance and maintain personal beauty. However, no amount of expensive beauty products or services can hide the fatigue, stress, unresolved drama and suppressed anger that resides in our body and is manifested onto our face.
Look in the mirror, declare that “I am worthy of uninterrupted time, to nurture my body, mind & soul”. Do some exercise, go on a weight loss but with a non-diet solution and invest in self-care. Create dates for relaxing facials, get the perfect pedicures, soak yourself in serene baths, go for exciting makeovers and enjoy those tranquil massages.
The second tip; we have to feel good about our self! It starts from within. Even if people were to put us down, we still have to keep on believing in our self. Granted, this feeling of self-worth can only come about when we have a healthy self-esteem. It really takes a high dose of self-confidence to be able to truly believe in our self. That is why as long as we feel that we are beautiful inside, then we are on the right track to either staying beautiful or starting to become gorgeous.
Remember, there is nothing wrong with making an effort to look good, stay in shape and keep our physical and emotional well-being nice. When we take care of our self, it does not mean that we are shallow and vain. We have to care for both our inner beauty and physical appearance in order to be beautiful, inside and out.
Get our body to feel beautiful and stay beautiful in our mind.
