We’ve seen a gazillion one shouldered dresses since we wrote about the trend back in 2008. The same can be said for cutaway clothing, which has also become supremely popular. So it takes a bit of thought to work these two trends into something that still feels fresh, and the simple elegance of Pucci’s black maxi-dress with sheer mesh and lace detailing – part of the Pre-Fall 2010 collections – narrowly but cleanly his the mark.
