The last conversation I had with Scott Schuman (a.k.a The Sartorialist) seemed to revolve solely around his distaste for black clothing, or at least all black outfits. I can only imagine then, that Nicole Miller’s Autumn (Fall) / Winter 2010 wouldn’t necessarily be to his liking.
Put bluntly: there’s a heck of a lot of black in this collection. Some prints, yes. Even subdued colour. But this is fashion as reality. This is the colour tonality that most people opt for come the colder months. This is a collection of safe colours mixed modern cuts that will ooze ‘effortlessly cool’ when mixed with the right attitude.
